Words of wisdom are often passed from generation to generation. Today, Everett interviewed his granddaddy in order to write a biographical sketch for English. At the close of the interview, Granddaddy told Everett of some wisdom he has attained over his lifetime. Everett shared this gem of knowledge with me, and I just thought it was too valuable to keep hidden. So now, may you all glean from this man’s precious pearls of wisdom.
